Seamus is an Mechatronics engineer who brings skills ranging from automation, programming, CAD design through to UAV piloting.
In 2014 Seamus was runner up of the GT Murray award for his presentation on Engineering Research and Design for robotics. The year after he would go on to coach the Manukau Institute of Technology robotics team for the National Instruments Autonomous Robotics Competition. Working as an intern to LanzaTech gained him exposure to wide ranging projects from programming to instrumentation installations and laboratory automation.
At Dotterel Seamus is applying his skills to creating new technology solutions for UAV’s heading our passive noise solution development and piloting UAV’s above New Zealand’s fertile agricultural fields in the upper North Island.
